it truly baffles me that most other queer identities can experience fluidity & it's fine but for some reason a lesbian not fitting perfectly into the extremely rigid dictionary definition is a punishable offence? why do lesbians have to be so heavily policed if nobody else does?
it's not an uncommon experience for lesbians to have identity crises at some point in our lives where you doubt urself for maybe being attracted to one man, or fictional men - that's why the lesbian mas/ter d/oc exists, bc we need more reassurance that we're lesbian ENOUGH
the idea that lesbianism is not abt loving women but DISliking all men is a remnant of political lesbianism. that's the defining factor, & breaking that rule for even a second is not just a quirk of ur identity, but an act of traitorship to ur siblings & lesbianism as a whole.
fluid lesbians are cool & i just want lesbianism as a whole to evolve to become less strict & binary & boxed-in bc thats how dykes have been throughout history, from gnc butches & studs, to non-cis dykes (incl transmascs), to bi dykes, to literally any kind of dyke under the sun.
