I'm at the making brandy milkshakes and listening to Christmas tunes part of Eve. Just remembered when I rented a flat next to a church, many many decades ago. Then, my Christmas tradition was turning up to midnight mass, smashed, to sing carols. My then-partner did not partake.
sharing is caring. First up is the Weather Girls. That rain dried up, so they asked Santa for some help. Weather Girls, you don't need a man. Make up a big pot of boozy egg nog, and make your own fun this Christmas.
next up is Katy Perry getting drunk-horny -- for Santa. Oh well, what ever shakes your merry bells.
remember that time Run DMC released a Christmas song. Yeah, I'd forgotten that one too. Cute dog.
Bet you didn't know you needed to hear a Sinatra/Seal Christmas duo tonight. Hang on, I need to go make another Brandy Milkshake.

Thanks Wham. Next up is a beautiful Christmas song dedicated to Satan. "Let's not leave him out, because you know, fairs fair."
And Christmas is not Christmas without Mariah.
Tricked you. Ok, here's more Mariah.
Just making another drink, and then there's the battle of the Hallelujahs. It's a Christmas tradition.
There will be a poll at the end, to determine the Infinite Hallelujah. It's a Christmas song. Don't @ me.
First up is Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah đź’”
Next is Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. He wrote it, he sang it, he nailed it IMHO.
Yes, of course KD Lang's Hallelujah is in the mix 🤩
The last version of Hallelujah is by Jennifer Hudson.
Now it's time for the Hallelujah poll! Which is your favourite? (or, post yours underneath)
Okay, the Christmas carols continue. Next is Boney M.
Grace Jones on the Pee Wee Herman show was a blast.
Eartha đź’—
who doesn't want their Christmas tree trimmed?
And Marilyn Monroe's version. Of course it's not as good as Eartha's, but the only white woman version I'll accept. Yeah, sit down Madonna.
Love love love Shakira, but nope. Eartha still owns this song.
this version I'll allow. Earth is singing. And those moves are 🔥
Changing pace. And here's Elton with some Christmas cheer.
I remember the moment I heard Elvis was gone. When I got to school (girls collage) everyone was standing in the yard, crying. I think that was the first time I'd seen people collectively grieve for a celebrity.
last song. John & Ono would never have been able to predict the year we've just survived. Many have lost loved ones. War, inequity, racism, poverty continue. Forget lists, achievements or success. We are still standing strong. That's what we've done. đź’—
