In math, there is a concept called an "inflection point" or where the curve on a graph changes direction.
For me, 2020 has been an inflection point and I would like to spend time this morning sharing four important lessons 2020 has taught me. A thread/

For me, 2020 has been an inflection point and I would like to spend time this morning sharing four important lessons 2020 has taught me. A thread/

I want to preface by sharing that I started off the year straight up lost but these lessons got me through:
Lesson #1: Who you surround yourself with matters. 2020 taught me to internalize this truth:
not just anyone that can pour into you, should pour into you.
Lesson #1: Who you surround yourself with matters. 2020 taught me to internalize this truth:

Lesson #2: Echoing my big sis @uche_blackstock here who also subscribes to this sentiment: Taking a leap of faith is oftentimes the catalyst for something greater.
In 2021, I dare you to take that leap.
In 2021, I dare you to take that leap.
Lesson #3: Be intentional. @MsPackyetti downloaded this into me recently and it's something that I will continue to refine as I enter 2021.
Who we choose to be will inform the legacy we leave behind. Move with purpose on purpose. As @ava says here:

Lesson #4: Tap into a greater purpose beyond yourself in 2021.

Lesson #5: Two new and *very* wise friends of mine, @ReignOfApril and @lea, have been downloading this truth into me, especially recently:
KNOW YOUR WORTH and then ADD TAX.
In 2021, we do nothing for free. We ask for what we deserve and then some.

I got carried away, but this is all to say that despite 2020 being a difficult year. When you know better, even through trials and tribulations, you do better.
I hope these lessons encourage you as you step into 2021.

I am coming here to say that THE @ava has found this thread, and that's all. 2021 is about to be an awesome year.
