Masturbation the secret habit; a thread
Masturbation for both men and women is haraam in Islam. It's forbidden based on the following verses from the Qur’an.
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَٰفِظُونَ
And they who guard their private parts.
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَٰفِظُونَ
And they who guard their private parts.
إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزْوَٰجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed.

فَمَنِ ٱبْتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْعَادُونَ
But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors -

“But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from His bounty.”

From the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) Abdullaah ibn Masood said; we were with the Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) while we were young and had no wealth.
So, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said; "O young people whoever young can marry, should marry. Because it can helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty" ( i.e private parts from committing illegal sexual intercourse etc )
And whoever isn't able to marry should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power.

How to cure:
To seak a cure for this problem recall should be solely the following Allah's (ﷻ) orders and fearing His punishment. A permanent cure from this problem lies in marriage as soon as possible.

Lowering the gaze from looking forbidden (Haraam) things such as naked pictures and videos etc. It will help you to suppress the desire before it leads to commit the haraam. ﷲ orders men and women to lower their gaze and guard their private parts.

Try to follow the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) guidance and well-known supplications. Repenting and asking forgiveness from Allah ﷻ, doing good deeds and not losing hope.
Allah ﷻ is the most merciful and he is always responding to whoever calls on him. So keep on begging him, to grant you ease and ability to control the unnecessary sexual desires.
