[A very important thread]

Premier League clubs as Peep Show characters...
Arsenal: Pej

Sure, you hear stories about how wild and entertaining they used to be in previous decades, but the present day version simply never shows up.

Still, the memories live on.

#AFC
Aston Villa: Jeremy

They have lofty ambitions, but everyone watching on knows they're probably never going to be achieved.

But at the same time they're good fun to have around.

#AVFC
Brighton: Stu

Aesthetically pleasing and just a nice presence to have.

They'll probably never have any real impact on anything if we're honest but you can't help but like them.

#BHAFC
Burnley: Natalie

They don't mess around. They have one approach and they are absolutely sticking to it.

Tough. Efficient. And rather intimidating. Nobody likes coming face to face with them.

#TwitterClarets
Chelsea: Johnson

Ruthless. Utterly ruthless. They are willing to chop any personnel at any time if things are not working, and it nearly always sees them come out on top.

Even if they frequently come across as a bit of a bastard.

#CFC
Crystal Palace: Lisa

Just sort of there, aren't they? The odd Crystanbul here and 'you're a real piece of shit' there, but largely they're just filling space.

But they do it well I suppose.

#CPFC
Everton: Super Hans

Often incredibly entertaining but undoubtedly suffer from delusions of grandeur.

Always threatening to be successful but will more than likely just go off the rails again.

#EFC
Fulham: Heather

Middle class, inoffensive, unreliable, and won't be hanging around for long.

They are definitely not the one.

#FFC
Leeds: Big mad Andy

What are you going to get? A jam on the bongos and a cheeky toke, followed by a drink of nasty paint? Or a 5-2 win followed by a 6-2 loss?

Who knows. But christ it will be entertaining.

#LUFC
Leicester: The Orgazoid

They've been as high as it's possible to go (Prem title. Borneo Function).

And been as low as anyone wants to go (League One. Employing a "handyman").

But they're destiny ultimately lies somewhere just above the middle.

#LCFC
Liverpool: Jeff

As in Jeff?! Other main protagonists are always desperate to see them fail, but things just keep going their way.

And, you know, he's a scouser so fitting, no?

#LFC
Manchester City: Ben

Nobody who isn't close to them really likes them, but ultimately they're too busy being successful to care.

But we liked you a lot better when you were mediocre, City. That was a great look for you.

#MCFC
Manchester United: Mark's dad

Things don't go their way anymore and they don't like it at all; cauliflower, little crosses in the sprouts, Premier League titles. Plenty of anger is the result.

No one respects tradition these days.

#MUFC
Newcastle United: Gerard

A bit irritating, regularly miserable and with a shoddy system running them.

Usually around, but you just know it will all end very badly at some point.

#NUFC
Sheffield United: Dobby

Sure, they're kooky, unconventional approach was entertaining at first and worked wonders for them.

But now that everyone's sussed them out, they'll soon be vanishing.

#SUFC
Southampton: Barney

Heaving with talent, but that talent is frequently harvested and exploited by others.

Would definitely get any other club some McCoys, a Ribena and a Twirl.

Or a Lallana, a Van Dijk and a Lovren.

#SaintsFC
Tottenham Hotspur: Mark

Often looking on the brink of success. Happiness often looks within their grasp. But ultimately they fall short.

'I just thought this season might be the one, but I guess probably not.'

#THFC
West Brom: Saz

Likely to do something outrageous like get off with a colleague at your birthday party or sack a promotion-winning manager for Big Sam.

Still, you can find solace in the fact they won't be hanging around for long.

#WBA
West Ham: Sophie

Always there doing something of note. Often look like they're going to completely self destruct only to make a miraculous recovery.

Destined to hang around for eternity.

#WHUFC
Wolves: Gog

Sure, over the last 20 years you would have probably sneezed in their face, but now they are well on the up, rich as hell and think they're better than you.

Jorge Mendes is VERY interested.

#WWFC
Very happy this has gone down as well as it has! No need to discuss how long it did or did not take me...

Merry Christmas x
