A short thread for Christmas Eve/For those of my followers that celebrate Christmas, I'm sure you'll agree that this time around it is going to be different to what we've become accustomed to. At least, I hope that you've all got your trees and presents arranged around the base .
Many of us won't have been able to travel to visit family, friends or loved ones and will instead be having to stay at home, perhaps on our own or with just immediate family. Whatever your circumstances this year, I really hope that you're able to enjoy Christmas in the knowledge

that with the wonders of modern technology, we can at least see people online, or at least speak to them by telephone. Whatever we all decide to do, lets hope that you've all managed to complete your Christmas food shopping and haven't indulged in panic buying of any sort.

Wherever you are and whatever you're doing tomorrow, you might wish to start your day with a modest cuppa or two to keep out the cold but hopefully won't be indulging in anything unhealthy as you know it isn't good for you!

Unfortunately, many of us won't be able to indulge in the traditional lunchtime pint at the local but for those of you that are still able to, then savour it as the local pub is something that we should cherish and will find irreplaceable if we should ever lose them.

For myself, it has been a challenging year for all of us in the guiding fraternity but hopefully 2021 will be kinder for all of us and I really look forward to meeting up with some of you then but in the meantime, I shall be enjoying a few of these later and will no doubt see..
