I (foolishly) went back & watched every made Hawks basket from last night.
Because I'm an idiot, I complied a list of some of the most egregious, basic mistakes the Bulls made.
Here's a thread.

First defensive possession.
I might be being harsh here, but absolutely zero resistance or an ability here for White to fight over the screen, leaving Reddish to get middle way too easily.
Carter needed to help more quickly, but was concerned about Collins as a lob threat.

Similar to above. One of the weaknesses of the drop coverage scheme is giving up pull-up jumpers and midrange shots.
That's usually ideal, but Huerter steps into this shot way too easily.
Hutch needs to beat the screen, Gafford needs to be up higher.

Coby being so slender is a problem. He can't battle over screens at all.
I don't know what WCJ is supposed to do. He guards higher to help White curtail Young, but gets cooked by Collins on the dive. Williams needs to rotate on Collins.
Point of attack and help D needs work.

Same thing again. Coby dies on the screen, allowing Reddish to waltz into the lane.
Carter is dropping to protect rim and the lob. Probably needs to be a step higher, but again, the threat of Collins on the lob worries him out of it.
Mokoka needs to stunt over to help the ball.

The Bulls were abysmal in transition.
LaVine calls for White to pickup Collins so he could stop the ball, only he doesn't pressure Young at all.
If you going to give Young this amount of room to make reads, he's going to kill you.

Absolutely zero transition defense from LaVine again.
He has two fouls at this point, but still. Not good enough.

Hawk run a PNR / DHO with two guards. This puts both Coby and Zach in the action. Nice set by the Hawks in targeting to weak defenders.
I have no idea why Coby goes under on a shooter like Bogdanovic. Absolutely can't happen. Call the switch or go over.

Whilst Markkanen at center lineups could be a boon offensively, the counter this idea is summed in this possession.
Absolutely zero help defense from Porter, and while Markkanen was there, he too offers no resistance at the rim.

This one may have been the worst of the night.
In a halfcourt set, the Bulls (White, Porter) had no idea who was guarding Hill and Huerter.
No communication -> easy, open three -> Donovan timeout.

There were many more blunders, all of which were similar.
In every aspect of defense -- PNR coverage, transition, help, communication -- the Bulls were dreadful.
It can't get much worse than this, so I hope this is an aberration, not a sign of things to come.
