I have seen every CHO from every state and territory on good days and stressful ones

Do I think they are trying to do their job-absolutely

But when I see a problem I will point it out because it is important

The NSW pressers and information flow has not been as clear as it was even during the Crossroads outbreak

It is very noticeable if you are trying to tweet the pressers how clearly the information is presented or not but go back and look at the July pressers and media releases

It is very different

There are a lot more cases and venues now by comparison and that is challenging (and should also tell you the extent of the concern this outbreak is) but far less than Vic peak

Trying to tease out how many cases are linked to different venues is really hard as it is not often stated

We know a couple eg 3 cases at the Paragon, but not to the RSL or Bowling Club or both if it is hard to tease out the individual sites

Clear dissemination of information is so important in a pandemic

NSW stressed personal responsibility and as such are not mandating a lot of actions outside NB

They have left a lot decisions to individuals on whether to travel or have people over for Christmas

In this case the public need as much information as possible if decisions are being devolved to them
