Ulagalantha Perumal Temple is one amoung the 108 Divya Desam. Mahavishnu is worshipped as Ulagalantha Perumal and Lakshmi Devi as Amudavalli.
There are 3 Divya Desham within this temple Tiru Ooragam, Tiru Neeragam, Tiru Karagam. Maha Vishnu appeared here as Vamana to protect from Bali the Asura king. Temple is also called Trivikraman temple. Vigraham is about 30 feet which is huge when compared to other Divya Desams.
