no but what the actual fuck did i just witness https://twitter.com/565suki/status/1341838114625642497
im- what 😁 /neg
ok so im pretty sure its satire but even if it is this whole thing is inherently harmful and lowkey lghtphobic considering the "opression" they're likely speaking about here is being bullied a bit for watching my hero academia in middle school, while *actual* lgbtq+ kids get +
+ harrassed and murdered just because they like who they like or decided to get a medical transition. you're not going to get kicked out of your house and left homeless because you enjoy death note, bryce. stop acting like being attracted to a fictional character is something +
+ big and new, and most importantly stop acting like its a SEXUALITY. its harmful to a younger audience who may think that "oh this is a thing" no it isnt. as i said, even if the post is satire, it's still not a good thing to post with an impressionable audience.
additionally, saying that weeb is a slur, even as a JOKE, really diminishes the meaning of real slurs, like the f slur and the d slur. it was like the geronimo joke that went to far on tiktok earlier. its funny to an extent, but most of the time it just isnt.
