Let’s talk about RAPH baby!
Let’s talk about HIM and his MOVIESsGod Hollywood really seems loves this turtle.
Whenever there’s a first tmnt movie of its series/trilogy, Raph gets a lot of focus in comparison to his other brothers. Movie writers just seems to love the trash talking bruiser.
Maybe because out of all of the main characters in the franchise, his character arc of him learning of letting go of his angry and allowing himself to vulnerable to his family would seem the most relatable thing to the audience.
And remains consistent even to most recent movie.
Which is funny considering how the main Mirage series, idw comic remake, and even some of the animated series would have very different and very separate reasons on why Raph is the way he is.
Rise Raph on the other hand, while being very different from his lone wolf persona, is still the same trouble turtle we all know and love but was put in entirely new position on the team.
But with being said, I can’t help but wonder what else is in store for Raphael on Rise? Are we just going back to the same song and dance of him being a angsty loner or will the Rise crew subvert our expectations?
