~Why would he do this? IMHO It is a signal to everyone *outside* the WH what the POTUS and VP are planning.

~Indeed, the VP quoted Steve Bannon yesterday at a Florida rally when he said come January "We will hold the line."
~That line was clearly meant for US.
~I do not believe POTUS or the VP would intentionally mislead their supporters.
