2020 has been a hell of a rollercoaster year for me both personally and professionally. I want to express a token of gratitude to everyone who has been supportive, understanding, and patient with me. I truly could not ask for a better set of colleagues, friends, and mentors.
The @FAFSA team who welcomed me into the group and allowed me to truly connect research to policy and practice. Putting 40M borrowers into forbearance and ensure they have access to essential resources is no small task. I am continually amazed by this set of public servants.
My #EPC family who always are a source of encouragement and professional growth. Special thanks to @abrooksbowden @doughesm @magottfried @ehutt1 and @DanielKlasik for indulging my random messages throughout the year!
The faculty at @JHUeducation who welcomed me w/ open arms and allowed me to be a member of the Ph.D. faculty. I am looking forward to teaching the Econ of Ed course in the spring & continuing to work w/ some of the most amazing doctoral students. Special thanks to @educationdean

A special congratulations to the doctoral students I was able to advise and serve on committees this year who graduate with their doctorates. Congrats to Dr. @will_the_will, Dr. @DouglasEWendel , Dr. @JamesTyger and Dr. @ShayneCade
The exceptional graduate students I was able to teach this fall semester at @GMUHigherEd and @AU_SchoolofEd. I hope they learned as much from me as they taught me over 16 weeks.
Two of the hardest working and productive young scholars, @Dcollier74 and @ChrisMarsicano, it has been an absolute pleasure to see them grow into superstars in higher education.
