Twitter will cut me off.....but I’ve been reading a lot of predictions on card prices. Some say to the moon, others say overpriced . Here is my eagles eye view. Prices are only only considered “ high” if there is not a plethora or people willing to buy at that price. ....
The prices today would be considered outrageous 5 years ago when the population of both collectors and those with discretionary income to buy them was much smaller. The reason they are dramatically higher today is the supply of products has not increases but the population...
3...of people desiring it and who can afford it has increased dramatically( aka demand > supply) so until such time as the demand= supply prices will go up. From my position, I see constant daily increases to the universe of collectors, not just in USA but worldwide. ...
4 and there is zero chance supply of out of production product will increase, hence the term “ out of production” so the market will do what the market does, no matter how loud people shout. Bottom line of the population of collectors and future collectors ( demand.) is far .....
5 fr greater then 99% of the collecting population realizes, unless you are one of the very few people who sit in a position where I do. So happy holidays to all and looking forward to a great 2021
