Here's a thread of Duas, advice and resources, that may be useful if you're seeking to get married...

I'm going to add to this, as and when I receive any advice or come across something beneficial

Those with more knowledge and experience on this subject, please add to it :)
Dua of Musa a.s in Surah Qasas, Ayah 24

رَبِّ إِنّي لِما أَنزَلتَ إِلَيَّ مِن خَيرٍ فَقيرٌ

rabbi ʾinnī li-mā ʾanzalta ʾilayya min khayrin faqīr

‘My Lord! I am indeed in need of any good You may send down to me!’
Surah Furqan, Ayah 74

رَبَّنا هَب لَنا مِن أَزواجِنا وَذُرِّيّاتِنا قُرَّةَ أَعيُنٍ وَاجعَلنا لِلمُتَّقينَ إِمامًا

‘Our Lord! Grant us spouses and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous
Kitab: Remedies form the Holy Quran which is an abridged translation of A'maale Qur'aani by Hazrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi r.a
"Keep an open mind and heart"
وَخَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا And We created you in pairs

This Ayah is often associated with marriage, what does it really mean? https://twitter.com/shabbirhsn/status/1341145908529012736?s=20
- Allah is the one who puts love, tranquillity and mercy in a marriage
- Even if we have the whole world we cannot unite hearts, only Allah can unite hearts
- Our hearts are controlled by the one who made them
A successful marriage is not built on love but on one, in which love grows. Your happiness lies within you. One of the biggest problems in the western world is that we put our happiness in other things e.g. a man or materialistic items.
The Nikah is a Sunnah. Marriage is an Ibadah. Make it a means to come closer to Allah.
A blissful marriage that takes you away from Allah is a calamity.
A difficult marriage which brings you closer to Allah is a blessing.
Ponder over the stories of the great women in Islam: Aasiya (wife of Firawn) & Khadijah r.a (one of the richest women in Makkah).
- Marriage is not stagnant, it is constantly evolving, people grow and circumstances change.

- Accept the reality, adapt to changes and know when to compromise.

- Accept what you can't change, change what YOU CAN and learn to recognise the differences.
