Since whole Lotta red is coming out, I've decided to review die lit and self titled to get prepared for it... Hope you enjoy it, rt's appreciated!

In this album I feel like carti went for a more "vibey" sound, as seen in tracks such as yah mean and location, but also not leaving behind the hype songs (like wokeuplikethis* and new choppa) and his old style, which made him famous back in the day.

Id say that if you like the old carti, that's the best you're gonna get,and you're gonna really like it,considering this album is full of classics like magnolia and dothatshit!, and it has songs for every mood: if you're hype,if youre just vibing W your friends,if youre chilling+
And many other situations. This is a solid piece of work from carti, with very good songs (some being better than others) and absolutely zero skips, not one bad song in this album. I'd really recommend it for everyone.
My favorite songs in this one are yah mean, New choppa, location and magnolia
DIE LIT
In this album, carti gets closer to the sound he has today, with songs that have his baby voice and his flow, which he's been using a lot in his projects recently, and this hype energy that's present in most of the album with songs like RIP, shoota or choppa won't miss

I'd say that, differently from self titled,, die lit has less variety, and doesn't really gets too far from that kinda baby voice/animated style (and a lot of adlibs), so if you're not into that, I think self titled is better for you, even because if fits every mood.
So, I dont think everyone would like it but I think most people in the carti fanbase (or at least near it) would love this album (and they do).Personally, I love the hype songs and I really like some of his baby voice songs and his new flow, which makes me really like this album.
It's been in my rotation since forever, and it will probably be for a while. And even though I prefer self titled, I dont this is has THIS MUCH replay value. This is really a timeless project from carti that will forever be remembered in his discography and didn't disappoint fans

WHOLE LOTTA RED
I hope WLR is kind of a mix of the two cartis, with songs that have his normal voice but also songs that have a bit of baby voice and that hype feeling to it, which we have already seen in some snippets. Im very hype for this album and I hope it doesn't disappoint
