It felt like someone had spit in my face....

A business associate had some incredibly harsh criticism for me today. Pissing on my sales call strategy for the last 3 years.

I've had massive success doing things the way I've been doing them.

I was fuming, until I realized..

What if they are right?

What if I can increase my success by taking some of their criticism and incorporating it into my value proposition strategy?

I've had massive success.

That massive success has inflated my ego.

My "fuming" for hours was the perfect evidence.....

I wasn't hurt, my ego was.

There are always opportunities to improve.

The harder you react to criticism, the more you need to assess your ego.

I'm going to test their suggestions and grow, instead of assuming I am right and being stuck.
