I've found the accelerationist argument that Trump would radicalize people to the left funny. Mostly cus I'm proof that that's not true
Like, I went into the 2017 as a left-wing populist who orbited around the Democratic Socialist & Social Democrat side of the spectrum. And now going into 2021, I'm a liberal who revolves around the center-left & center of the spectrum.
Obviously it's just anecdotal evidence. But I doubt I'm the only person who went from leftist to centrist in the past 4 years
