Today, I'm finishing on a piece three months in the making. Three people:

Matt Guarnere of What's Real Unlimited
Aric Schaubroeck
Phil Sanguedolce

These three cats on the music scene found a way to preserve a piece of Rochester music history... This acetate of "You're A Head."
This track was recorded in the late 60s by a band called "The Howse." This group played with some of the best during their time, and this track shows off how their psychedelic music is still timeless.
Phil — the leader of the band — heard this track for the first time after Guarnere digitally captured and cleaned up the audio.

"Amazing," he said. "This isn't 50 years old."

The track also featured Benny Grammatico, Ronnie Collins, Larry Weld, and "Wally" Sudor.
Guarnere is working with @HouseofGuitars and Schaubroeck on releasing this hidden gem — along with four other Howse tracks — into a special release in the near future.
Not to be lost in all of this is Guarnere's talent in audio capturing, archiving, and restoration. MDG and his company, "What's Real Unlimited," has carved out an impressive niche in the #Rochester area.

He can recover and preserve almost any kind of audio imaginable.
And on a personal note, I took some chances in terms of storytelling with this one.

Guarnere might be the subject, but it features no sit down interview with him. I still think i captured his personality and work ethic.
And more on those chances, I also used three cameras to capture this:

My news camera, my iPhone, and my own DSLR.
