This guy @theflyingclaw yday spread fake news & propaganda that marathas destroyed temples....this poor guy little did he know that existing 7 out of 12 jyotirlingas are rebuilt by shivbhakt marathas who marched from thanjavur to peshwar with war cry of har har mahadev....

1 Somnath which was destroyed no of times by izlamic invaders was rebuilt by marathas led by devi ahilya bai holkar which was main centre of worship till a new one was developed by indian govt in 1950's the old somnath temple still stands in front of new one.

2.kashi vishwanath in kashi the holiest site of hindus was destroyed by aurangzeb in 1669 & was rebuilt by Devi ahilya bai holkar in 1780 when other rulers failed to do so due to oppoaition from muzlim mughlas &nawab of awadh.

3.mahakaleshwar temple in ujjain was destroyed by illtutmish but it was rebuilt by ranoji scindia who was also the founder of scindia dynasty at its earlier capital of ujjain.

4.omkareshwar it was destroyed by mahmud ghaznavi when he raided india no of times it laid in broken condtion untill it was rebuilt by peshwa baji rao 2 even today afternoon & evening prayers are performed their by preists of scindia & holkar.

5 trimbakeshwar which was rebuilt by balaji baji rao who also built the famous dashashvamedh ghat at varanasi.

6.bhimashanker was built in 13th century which was even visited by gr8 saint gyaneshwar but the present temple is built by nana fadnavis

7 grishneshwar temple which was 1st destroyed by delhi sultanates & again by mughals it was also restored &rebuilt by devi ahilya bai holkar.

Hindu society must remember the contributions of these great people who fought against all odds & sometimes invested their personal wealth to restore that lost & looted temples....else we would have been fighting court cases for our rightful heritage.
