I can't deal with the Covid denialism in this country. It infests social media. It's as if a significant proportion of the country is in a state of disinformation-induced psychosis. It's frankly terrifying to witness.

And yes, I *know* a lot of them are shillbots. But a large number, including some very prominent people with large platforms, are not.

It's a toxic mix of insularity (they ignore successful virus control in other countries), antisocial attitudes, stupidity, and sheer malice. Some of them are also, I have no doubt, financially incentivised. Why there isn't more general condemnation of these people is a mystery.

They've *seen* what frontline medics are having to deal with. They've *seen* the grief of families who have lost loved ones prematurely to this disease. And they don't give a shit. Or they dress it up as some other kind of spurious "compassion" - for children; for the lonely.

I don't believe them - whence has sprung this sudden access of compassion?? They've no interest in what scientists or medical professionals have to say. They are heartless grifters, attention-hungry controversialists, and sociopaths. They need shaming for the rest of their lives.
