The EU/Europeans do not hate the UK or the British, even if it there are a significant number of Brits who hate us.

It's just not something that makes any sense to do when you learn about the world.

One of the great things about traveling across the European Union and the world, meeting people from different cultures, learning about how the world functions and that, in reality, there are no major differences between us peoples, is that you develop a more welcoming view.

Unfortunately, not everybody does that, and many people choose to instead isolate themselves, hide from the world, and nurture nonsensical biases and xenophobia instead.
