I’m going to share an interesting tidbit of my life that may help some people understand my (seeming) hyperbole, but hear me out.

Because that is how to prove your faith. If the snake was agitated, your faith was weak. If the snake was calm, your faith was strong. As a young 8 y/o, afraid for my own life, I wondered why faithful people were still being attacked. 2/x

In this way, I feel that COVID has replaced the angry God, and these arbitrary NPI’s are the snakes. If cases rise, your faith was shaky. If cases fall, our faith is strong. Either way, you’re blaming your “congregation” for an act of nature.

All in the name of something with as much “science” backing it as the snake handling church. I saw the social conditioning, the abuse, and the insanity. Buckle up, because it’s going to get worse when people fully understand this.
