Why Islam is so strict to women?

Basically, this question is due to the hijab because usually the feminists think that all the Muslim women are oppressed just because of the way they appear in the public.

Muslims women are restricted to dress in a way that none of their body part is revealed except the face, hands and feet. Men can have their hair revealed but women are ordered to cover their head.
Initially I didn't like the idea of being covered fully. You look entirely different and beautiful when your hair are open and exposed but now I have understood after living for so many years in this world l, why Islam has put restrictions upon us about how we should dress.
Men are naturally drawn to beauty so are the women but men are lustful. Their gaze is not usually good. I have personally observed that whatever you do, even if you cover your whole self even then men will stare at you in another way.
Obviously, a girl would never like to draw the attention of unwanted men who have bad eyes.
Covering oneself decreases the chances of attraction and yes I can say this from my own experience.

Islam is not strict on women but it has just set boundaries for men and women.
Women in Islam is completely independent personality. She can make any contract or bequest in her own name. She is entitled to inherit in her position as wife, as mother, as daughter, as sister.

She has the perfect Liberty to choose her husband. The pagan Society of Pre Islamic Arabia has an irrational prejudice against their female children whom they used to bury alive. The Messenger of Allah was totally opposed to this practice.
