Just heard from a friend on ss who was counting on some sort of stimulus to make it thru the yr. Had no idea she was in such dire straights. No clue. She asked me in tears if I thot the $ would arrive before Jan 1. Didn't want to tell her that Jan 15 was more realistic & it was

possible not at all. Between COVID & added costs of food delivery,etc, prescription meds increasing, there was more month than money.
She wouldn't hear of a loan - wouldn't even discuss it. So I hung up the phone & Zelled her $1K. Called her back & explained that it was my honor

as her friend to be fortunate enough to help. It was a blessing for me to be able to share.

My point to this story is not to praise myself. My point is that ppl right around us are suffering and we don't even know it. Look around. Reach out. Find someone who needs you today.
