I've used a cup for about two years now, and let me tell you why it's not for everyone:
1. Everyone has a different body, cups don't suit a lot of people and leak easily
2. A lot of the cups in the market are substandard and uncomfortable

4. You need to be able to sanitize and wash them before use, so not great for an sos situation or while traveling
5. In Europe where there was no bidet, it was quite a pain to clean up the mess in the bathroom some times

period when the blood flow is minimal, it is uncomfortable to use a cup and a light pad personally suits me better
7. Getting it in and out is a learning curve and especially difficult for people who have related problems

extremely painful and uncomfortable for a lot of folks to begin with. It really is no one's business other than the person. Maybe don't put the burden on the people who are already suffering :)
