Iâm in a situation where I just canât get to a full BB on gw 19, so triple captain it is for me here most likely on Mo Salah. The floor is going to be 12 points, and looking at Moâs data, the worst heâs ever done this year when putting 2 appearances together is 8 points - 24 TC
The ceiling for a Mo Salah TC is difficult to imagine, but the highest he would hit over 2GWs this year is actually the most recent form- gw13+14 combined = 23 x 3 = 69
The problem is, this way of calculating is too simplified, we canât just take away the captain from the BB. The ideal squad are still going to have their normal captain on Mo, so letâs look at how much we can hypothetically expect to gain/ lose on our rivals.

Mo TC = 12
Triple captainers losing 12 points with no returns for anyone. 12 point gain for the BBers as a âworst caseâ scenario.

Conclusion. For players using their triple captain in gw19... itâs fair to say that this week will all be about managing expections. Unless Mo really busts through his current ceiling, donât expect to see big rank movement, it will be a week for stability. BUT
There is hope. Weâll hopefully have the opportunity to claw back those points in gw26 and after, play the long game. Bear in mind also that those on the bench boost will likely be locked into cheaper players across the board, whereas we can get a premium 11 for the DGW.
