The #1 complaint about what frustrates scientists is how philosophers of science say "We have abandoned Popper decades ago". Yeah, we know, that's when you largely stopped being relevant and why we no longer read what you write. With notable exceptions such as @learnfromerror. https://twitter.com/KevinZollman/status/1341459960325173250
This is also why the most relevant philosophy of science in psychology was taken over by psychologists, and why many of us like Paul Meehl. I am listening to his lectures for the 3rd time as we speak: http://meehl.umn.edu/talks/philosophical-psychology-1989
Note that I really love philosophers of science ( @KevinZollman included). But please stop with the overly simplistic 'we abandoned Popper decades ago' when what you really mean is 'we abandoned simplistic summaries of Popper that Popper didn't even subscribe to'.
