I think this thread is done well, but at the end of the day Luke was the beacon of light and goodness in Star Wars. I'll never believe he would do that to his Nephew. Vader was a different situation in the heat of the moment and then on Crait he continued to mock Kylo. https://twitter.com/AD_Strider/status/1341109512841912320
He didn't even try to save him. He knew what Vader had done he didn't even know he would be willing but "he felt the good in him" no matter what he tried his best to do good. He could of with Ben and did nothing. The story of the Sequel Trilogy isn't even done coherently.
So Snoke was Palpatine's puppet and he bridged their minds but then it was the Dyad and then Sidious didn't know? So which is it? This just goes to show they didn't plan things out. And on that note with everything u say, yeah, I could understand Luke being the Legend and..
failing because of it. But the reason why people are so upset is because that was already done with the Prequels with Anakin. The sadness, all of the Jedi dying. This story should of been about the next generation while respecting the old. Passing of the torch, Luke, Han, Leia
were our heroes that showed us things after the Prequels were better. I love the Sequels still but with time
I've realized they messed up. Our heroes deserved better but nice thread and I agree with ur thread but the point is that Rian shouldn't of turned Luke into that. And if I could have George's Sequels then I would just how I feel and a lot of other people.
