"pouring" is definitely one of day6's hidden gems it is such a beautiful all rounder like if i had to pick a song other than "man in a movie" that makes you feel like you are in a movie it would probably be "pouring" because the whole song feels like a rush
i love how fast paced it is it feels like you are being swept up in a whirlwind and you can feel the frustration and the "oh my god i am so fucking smitten" vibes just from the music that keeps on building until it reaches a height where you feel like your head is in the clouds
then comes the drop at the bridge where it feels like time has come to stand still and it feels like a moment of clarity at "i'm falling for you" and the way sungjin and wonpil delivers the line always without a fail every single time makes me stop what i am doing to just listen
the term "pouring" itself is so fitting young k managed to capture an entire array of emotions simply by choosing the perfect word because catching feelings especially fast and hard can feel like something washing over you and "you are pouring out over me" is just so brilliant
i really love the drums in "pouring" because of how well it kicks off the song it just immediately pulls you in like dowoon is grabbing your hand and pulling you through a door and you suddenly find yourself trying to keep up with the rush of the song as it takes you for a ride
