To empower individuals on a peer to peer Web, I truly believe that Personal Cloud Compute(PC2) is the way to go.

Personal Cloud Compute (PC2), P2P Messaging, Content-Addressable Storage (IPFS), Decentralized ID, etc., are all essential components to build a #Smartweb computer.

Elastos Carrier is the OS for the Smartweb.

Elastos Runtime (Trinity) is the OS for virtual machines of PC2.

A Telco Carrier conducts all logistics between two phones— you dial a number and the carrier finds the other party, which might be roaming in a different country, and sets up a virtual circuit connecting two peers.

A blockchain is also a P2P network.

Web3 is yet another one.

Then the Web era came, user data were mostly in clouds owned by oligopolies.

PC2 is software-defined, elastic Personal Cloud Compute(r), the capabilities of which may increase on demand.

When user data is in a PC2, nobody can breach his/her data except the user compromises the mnemonic phases.

The #Elastos #Smartweb is a decentralized peer-to-peer Web of PC2s.

Whether or not others may find someone’s PC2 is up to the Elastos Carrier, similar to telco carriers.

#Elastos (native) dApps are mostly distributed via iOS AppStore or Android PlayStore. Some would be distributed directly to Windows, Linux and MacOS.

The dApp vendor has legal responsibilities to comply to regulations.

Social network influencers may be qualified by the vendor.

Tuum team is planning a decentralized LinkedIn-like dApp, called Profile. So that other dApps could leverage influencers’ credentials and act accordingly.

#Elastos #Smartweb prohibits Web servers, which doesn’t stop a peer to have its own server to behave like a BIG brother.

Being decentralized & autonomous running, #Elastos Carrier may also launch dApp specific Oracles or consensus sidechains.
