Read on Twitter
Last couple of times I saw people on Twitter express strong negative opinions about a pop culture outlet's article dealing with a niche nerd thing, I read the article in question and did not understand the outrage. I felt mild disagreement at worst. Am I just lenient or what lol.
Like, if someone posted the exact same text on a personal blog, most people would be like "A reasonable stance. You overlooked this point or there was a bit of missing context but whatever." They weren't written to be flamebait-y at all imo.
