Racism may come up at your family gathering this year. Maybe you brought it up or THAT family member did — but we want you to be able to have these tough convos. Here’s some guidance to make your holiday even more magical by tackling tough topics⬇️
Getting started is sometimes the hardest. Ensure you’re going into a welcomed discussion.
Define the terms everyone’s throwing around.
Then define the one’s they maybe don’t know but need in their vocabulary.
Lay out what a conversation on fairness really means in our society and what exactly we need to tackle.
Always helps to have real life examples.
Share the facts and the real issues facing Black and Brown communities everyday.

Election night (week) was filled with emotion. Now, we get to work together to create change.
