We did so primarily because we were concerned that the design & length of the clinical trials was not adequate to define the effectiveness of the candidate vaccines to reduce severe illness or transmission.

All we ask is reasonable concerns are taken seriously in order to minimise harms.
I always forget to add the rider “we’re not against vaccines”. Dr Wodarg is a physician & I’m a research scientist, who had been fortunate to have had a career in this very industry (I still consult to young biotech companies). I’m of course a huge fan of properly developed...
