I finished reading The Richest Man In Babylon.

I can safely say this is a top 5⃣ book for me.

Here are my 5⃣ biggest takeaways.

\\ THREAD /
1⃣ "I found the road to wealth when I decided that a part of all I earned was mine to keep."

Use 9/10 of your earnings for:
- Bills
- Debts
- Necessities

Then, pay yourself the remaining 1/10 of what you earn.

It will add up!
2⃣ "Every gold piece you save is a slave to work for you.

Every copper it earns is its child that can also earn for you."

The money you're putting away should be used to make more money.

Examples:
- Crypto
- Dividends
- Investments
- Inventory to flip

"Get money, buy income"
3⃣ "Gold slippeth away from the man who invests it in businesses or purposes with which he is not familiar."

Only invest in what you understand.

Don't follow the crowd.

Do your research.

This is your money & your future, after all.
4⃣"Increase thy ability to earn.

The more of wisdom we know, the more we may earn.

That man who seeks to learn more of his craft shall be richly rewarded."

Learn new skills to open up more earning opportunities.

Invest in your personal development.

Learn more to earn more.
5⃣"Better a little caution than a great regret."

Be careful with your money.

Think twice before you spend or invest.

It is earned through hard work, but can be lost in a matter of seconds.
This book is full of great information.

I enjoyed the stories & felt like I got a lot out of it.

I would read it again.

Have you read this book before?

If so, what did you think?
