A story came out yesterday that said "the vast majority of people shot by police were young men. When race could be identified, 48 per cent of people shot were Indigenous and 19 per cent were Black."
I don't know if it was the timing of the release or not, but it didn't seem to gain much interest or start as many conversations as I thought it would.

Now the real question: do people care that it is a majority of Black and Indigenous people that are being killed by the police?
