This may get people mad. But once Haaland, Fudge, Richmond joined the Admin, it became evident they weren't choosing a House rep for Cali. Just like we don't have numbers to pluck any one out of the Senate for the admin, they couldn't pull someone from the House for Cali Senator.

Barbara Lee, Karen Bass, Katie Porter weren't gonna happen once you do the Math & see House Dems will enter into the next legislative session with a much smaller cushion than this session & with folk like the squad. it's already going to be tough for Biden when he gets sworn in.

Until those three seats that Fudge, Richmond, Haaland are leaving behind get filled, hopefully by Dems, they don't have much wiggle room. And I don't think London Breed would have left San Fran in a pandemic. Yes I'm disappointed we're back to no Black Women in the Senate.

But I'm sure there were discussions involving Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Gavin Newsom before they made this decision. And I hope that in 2022 we can elect not just one Black Woman to the Senate but Black Women. Because it shouldn't be that we have had just 2 & that's it.
