I really need my relatives to stop reading and sharing conspiracy theories about hidden covid cures and vaccine panic, I cannot deal
In order to believe there is a hidden cure, you'd have to believe that tens of thousands of doctors- many of whom definitely got into the profession to help people- are purposely killing people in order because... money, somehow.
and not a single one of them has had the tiniest pang of conscience. not one whisleblower.
there's an old jewish joke about someone in a flood who keeps refusing help, saying they're waiting for a sign from god. they refuse the boat, the ladder, the helicopter, and when they die they're like "god why didn't you save me!" and he's like who do you think sent the boat
this is how vaccine arguments feel to me
