A group of Explorers is examining the recent unprecedented surge of single use plastic personal protective equipment (PPE) disposal during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Justine Ammendolia ( @JustineAmmendo1) and Jackie Saturno ( @jackie_saturno) collaborated with Amy Brooks ( @AmyLBrooks90), @shoshanahjacobs and Jenna R. Jambeck ( @JambeckResearch) to look at spatial distribution of PPE debris in metropolitan Toronto, Canada.
