This is a game that comes with a lot of caveats, because this game is janky as all hell, but I love the atmosphere and hand-drawn art. The SteamWorld games are some of the best indie games I've ever played.

Like the idea of a modern real-time stealth tactics game, but THQ Nordic is a dealbreaker?

Detention is now a Netflix series, but absolutely don't skip out on the original Taiwanese horror indie masterpiece. It's an incredibly involved game, but I've had such an amazing time with Age of Wonders: Planetfall so far, 15 hours in and I didn't even finish the practice planet yet, but I'm positively enthralled by the game! Disco Elysium!
Not only one of the best of games of 2019, but one of the best games of the past DECADE! Perhaps even one of the best games ever. I can't tell you just how good this game is, you just have to play it.
