Unpopular opinion: college is only a scam to those whose success is/was solely dependent on it.

College is for specialized knowledge. You could be a plumber and simply want to study history, you should do that.

Most ppl don’t go to college for free but it is very obtainable if that’s the route you need to take

College didn’t promise you, you’d have a job when you got out, but the ppl who encouraged you to go did

If you allow yourself to invest thousands into something that doesn’t gurantee a return then you made a poor investment/ steered your child wrong

It is ok to not go to college and live the life you want! It is also ok to have gone to college and do away with that plan and do something else
