Why did God command Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, only to provide a ram as a last second substitute? Jesus. Why did the blood of the spotless, firstborn lamb cause the wrath of God to passover the Israelites? Jesus.
Why did Joseph weep and reveal his identity to his brothers when Judah offered to be condemned in the place of the (presumed) guilty one, Benjamin? Jesus. Joseph was hearing the Gospel of the substitutionary atonement for the first time in years.
What does "The Lord said to my Lord 'sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool'" mean? Jesus.
Why does God speak in the first person plural in the creation account? The Trinity. Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit.
Who is the fourth man in the fiery furnace? Jesus.
How is Jacob able to see God face to face? Who is he wrestling with as he worries that his line is going to be wiped out? Jesus, the Son promised to him.
Why is the son conceived by a virgin to be called Immanuel, which means "God with us?" Jesus.
Who is the Suffering Servant of Israel, the one who is punished on behalf of His people, and by whose stripes we are healed? Jesus.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. It's all Jesus, folks!
