It's misogyny in that people refuse to believe they're autonomous, that they must be brainwashed in some way or something. And it's white womanhood that allows them to be perceived as innocent.

These women are on the front lines and behind the scenes of their fascist movements, just like their partners. They are eager and willing participants, they are actively white supremacist, and their perception allows for an insidious deniability.
