relatedly: the Black Solidarity Day exhibit took a few weeks total (incl. scans, metadata, prose, custom styling.) the skills we needed to get there were *no joke* but i really don't think we could've done it w/o wax. https://nyu-dss.github.io/black-solidarity-day/
selfishly, getting to work on this + other projects in various "skunkworks" this year ( http://nowviskie.org/2011/a-skunk-in-the-library/) has been unbelievably meaningful to me. imho my favorite part about wax is getting to make projects with folks without needing institutional permission or infrax.
