She takes regular time off (what a concept), admits when she’s struggling, and highlights physical activity and other important wellness tactics in her own life (running pics, for example).
Talking about looking after yourself, and telling others to do the same, is one thing. But actually doing it yourself is what shows those around you that it’s accepted, and more importantly, necessary.
If you’re a leader trying to show your team the value of putting their wellness first, take note!
It goes without saying that the benefits of making your own wellness a priority extend far beyond showing your team that it's important.
