Feeling nauseated by the diminishment of women's pain in the Hearing Officer's reco, & Klein's attempt to avoid a factfinding.
The message is clear: they say one is not enough. One kiss is not enough. One victim is not enough. One woman is not enough, to count, as a person. https://twitter.com/TUCapCon/status/1341416538654519297

"one" magically becomes enough when it is one man's reputation -- Klein says in the Petition that he wants to keep the JCOPE docs from the public eye to avoid "further tarnishing his reputation"

Their math is very different for men & women. In fact, on the man's side, even "zero" is enough to make their point.
Klein frets that Erica did not file a complaint. Seems they think the zero complaints proves something.
Klein says no one else saw his forced kiss.

Yes, he's trying to prove a negative, but this argument says a man's zero is worth more than a woman's evidence.
Remember, a victim's words ARE evidence. Erica's words are evidence & of course I believe her when she tells us, over, & over, that Klein forcibly kissed her.

And that matters.
His violation of her boundaries matters. It matters for her personal safety, & it matters for her imagining herself back in the office having to face a supervisor who forcibly kissed her.
It matters for Public Officers Law & Klein's misuse of his office.

Klein's lawyers refer to a "single isolated incident lasting only a few minutes" and this is...gross.
Reminds me of those other phrases, from other women's traumas, that we have stuck in our collective minds.
20 minutes of action
Indelible in the hippocampus is the laughter

Wrong. He's legally wrong, & has reached this conclusion by deciding a woman's pain means LESS THAN zero
