🔮 BAYERN PLAYER RANKINGS 🔮

Full thread of my personal rankings of ALL players who have made at least one appearance with Bayern this season.

Feel free to express your thoughts... if I’m right, what you would change, etc.
N/A - MichaĂ«l Cuisance, 21, đŸ‡«đŸ‡·

The promising young midfielder expressed an interest in leaving Bayern almost immediately after CL final. Now playing on loan (with option to buy) at Marseille, the midfielder’s day with Bayern are likely over.
N/A - Daniels Ontuzans, 20, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

The attacking midfielder/winger managed to make a 3’ cameo in the DFB Pokal against FC DĂŒren. Will likely be one of only a few times we ever see him in the first team squad.
N/A - Armindo Sieb, 17, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

The young striker is currently rehabbing from ankle ligament injury he suffered in the second half of Bayern’s Pokal win over FC DĂŒren. A potential player for the future, Sieb will likely return for the U-19s when healthy.
N/A - Fiete Arp, 20, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

Buried behind Lewandowski, Zirkzee and EMCM, Arp faces another season battling to even make the first team reserves. Another season as Bayern II’s first-choice striker should be expected. Any significant impact on the first team should not.
N/A - Leon Dajaku, 19, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

Another player who’s lone first-team appearance this season was against FC DĂŒren. The winger has 3G / 1A in 13 appearances with Bayern II so far. Has potential to be a rotational player in future, although exactly on the field that will be is TBD
N/A - Tanguy Nianzou, 18, đŸ‡«đŸ‡·

Absolute world class potential but due to multiple injuries since his free transfer from PSG, the CB/CDM has only made one appearance for Bayern so far this season, a 21’ cameo in a 3-1 Bundesliga win against VfB Stuttgart
N/A - Bright Arrey-Mbi, 17, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

The former CFC youth player is one of the most well-regarded players in the Bayern youth system. Struggled during his sole first team appearance against Atl Madrid but that should be expected for such an inexperienced player vs such a good team
This ends the N/A category which includes all players that made only one appearance with the Bayern first team this season. Thread will be continued.
25) Angelo Stiller, 19, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

He gone. The promising young midfielder is playing his last days in a Bayern shirt. More if a fixture with the second team, he was the odd man out once Roca and Dantas were signed. Bright future, but not with Bayern.
24) Alexander NĂŒbel, 24, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

Was signed to be the successor to Manuel Neuer but will struggle to ever see the field unless Manuel suffers an injury. Had performed well in his two appearances (one clean sheet) but hard to project the rest of his season. A future loan possible.
23) Joshua Zirkzee, 19, đŸ‡łđŸ‡±

One of the victims of poor squad planning. EMCM is taking away any play time that was potentially there. A loan move is a necessity ASAP
22) Bouna Sarr, 28, đŸ‡«đŸ‡·

You’ve heard of elf on a shelf but have you heard of Sarr on a car?! Yeah that’s all I got. He’s the 3rd, maybe 4th best option at RB Bayern has right now. Good news is, contract only lasts another 3 years. Oy vey.
21) Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, 31, 🇹đŸ‡Č

His job is to not get hurt, he said it himself. Has managed to score a couple early season goals but let’s be real, he’ll likely be remembered most for the goals he manages to NOT score. Love the guy tho.
20) Marc Roca, 24, đŸ‡Ș🇾

Another victim to poor squad planning, buried behind Javi and Tolisso on the depth chart. Should see more play time as the season progresses but that will also be challenged by the integration of Tiago Dantas and Tanguy Nianzou back into the first team
19) Chris Richards, 20, đŸ‡ș🇾

A victim of poor squad planning with the Bouna Sarr signing, Chris Richards is not receiving the game time he deserves. In limited play time this season (7 apps) with the first team, he has proven to be a better option than Sarr at RB and a quality CB.
18) Corentin Tolisso, 26, đŸ‡«đŸ‡·

Healthy and getting plenty of opportunities (especially recently) but has been the worst-performing midfielder for Bayern this season. Good for an absolute banger of a goal every now and then but will likely be transferred out after this season.
17) Javi Martinez, 32, đŸ‡Ș🇾

Club legend but shouldn’t really be here at the moment. His failed transfer back to Athletic Bilbao has led to him taking valuable play time away from Marc Roca. Will always be a fan favorite but the sooner he leaves the club, the better.
16) Douglas Costa, 30, đŸ‡§đŸ‡·

Second stint with Bayern is pretty much going as expected. Just a fresh option off the bench when the other wingers healthy. Should be brought back on a permanent basis if other transfer options do not work out this summer.
15) Benjamin Pavard, 24, đŸ‡«đŸ‡·

Another player who has struggled this season. Bouna Sarr was brought in to provide him with some competition and he was actually benched in favor of Sule to play at RB last game. He’s been a disappointment so far after a strong first season.
14) David Alaba, 28, 🇩đŸ‡č

The most disappointing of all Bayern players since return of play from the COVID-19 lockdown. Likely to be his last season in a Bayern shirt. Needs to be sat sooner than later, there are simply better options within the first team right now.
13)  Serge Gnabry, 25, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

Scored a hat-trick in the Bundesliga opener vs. Schalke but has only contributed to 1G / 2A in 18 appearances since. Was one of Bayern’s best players last season but needs a massive turn in form to guarantee a spot in the starting lineup moving forward
12) Leroy Sane, 24, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

Couldn’t have started the season in a better way with 1G / 2A in the Bundesliga opener against Schalke. Suffered a muscle tear less than a month after and has really struggled to adapt since returning from the injury. Expecting better play in 2nd half.
11) Alphonso Davies, 20, 🇹🇩

Has performed well, but limited to only 6 appearances because of a major ankle injury. His return has immediately improved Bayern’s defense and he will continue to be an undisputed starter at LB when healthy. One of Bayern’s best all-around players.
10) Niklas Sule, 25, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

Has struggled to find consistent play this season due to various minor injuries and rumors regarding his weight. Recently started at RB for the first time in his career and performed admirably. Will continue to see lots of starts the rest of season at CB.
9) Jamal Musiala, 17, đŸŽó §ó ąó „ó źó §ó ż

By far the youngest player to make an impact at Bayern this season, Jamal Musiala is the brightest youth prospect within Bayern’s ranks. Has been the preferred option for Hansi Flick over players such as Tolisso, Roca and Javi. The sky is the limit.
8) Leon Goretzka, 25, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

Kimmich’s main partner in Bayern’s midfield, Leon is in the middle of another steady season for Bayern Munich. Out for the last two matches, Leon should be fully ready to go come the new year and I expect another fantastic season from him.
7) Lucas Hernandez, 24, đŸ‡«đŸ‡·

Has played a majority of season at left-back, filling in for the injured Alphonso Davies. His aggressiveness brings something completely different to the table than what Alaba has brought at LCB lately. In my opinion, Lucas is the best CB Bayern has.
6) Joshua Kimmich, 25, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

As I have said several times before, Joshua is the engine that runs this Bayern team. His injury was a massive loss and is the only reason he is rated so low on this list. Assisted within 30 min of his return. World-class player.
5) Jerome Boateng, 32, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

Not the most best CB in the squad anymore but continues to be selected on the most consistent basis of any of the Bayern CB. Being exposed as a big-time cheater by his ex on Insta as we speak but in terms of on-field performance, not too bad Boa.
4) Thomas MĂŒller, 31, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

My favorite Bayern players of all time, Muller is having another great season for Bayern. Supposedly not good enough to make the reserves of a German NT that lost 6-0 to Spain in November, Thomas has 19 G+A in 22 appearances this season (all comps).
3) Manuel Neuer, 34, đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș

The only reason he isn’t number one on this list is because pure greatness is just what we expect from him at this point. Saves points for Bayern constantly and continues to prove why he’s not only the best goalie today, but of all time @XavsFutbol
2) Kingsley Coman, 24, đŸ‡«đŸ‡·

(1/2) So THIS is the Kingsley Coman we’ve been waiting for. Has been on an absolute tear since scoring the only goal in Bayern’s UCL Final win vs PSG. Far and away Bayern’s best option on the wing so far this season and should be an undisputed...
(2/2)

... starter on the left side to start the second half of the season. Barring injuries, we’re about to see a career season for the King.
1) Robert Lewandowski, 32, đŸ‡”đŸ‡±

Nothing changes for the world’s best striker. Absolutely no drop in form since last season, as the striker has 20G / 5A in 18 appearances in all competitions for Bayern this season. One of the front-runners for next year’s Ballon d'Or.
That’s it folks hope you enjoy. Gonna tag a couple of the bigger accounts I follow on here. No pressure at all but if you feel it’s quality content i would love for this to reach as many people as possible.
