The entire dialogue over the stimulus has been a form of political emotional abuse, not true civic dialogue. It's part of the continued focus on whipsawying the working class, and flouting ideas of meritocracy.

Is $150 more than the current per-person stimulus checks, capped at individuals earning $75k or less. Examine the gulf between access enjoyed by our President, including while a private citizen, to material goods like housing and services like medical care.
People in many other nations pay higher taxes, but they actually get services and not humiliation ladled out in dribs during the rise of oligarchy. Women get childcare, and parents of all genders get leave.
It's the taxes, stupid. And the enforcement thereof.
