How do I quickly find information and old tweets?

A tweetorial.

I like to think of Twitter as my own personal giant library and information storage system.

If I want to save something for FREE I save it to twitter.

So the real question is how do I find it?
Sorry if this information seems obvious, you can just ignore it and happily get on with your life.

Finding things on twitter is usually quick and simple, if you know how.

You need to have a key words or phrases, and or a twitter handle for your search.
To start, click on the little Sherlock Homes magnifying glass.
Type in some key words or a phrase, I used my own twitter handle to see what I had “stored”, then press enter, the blue key on my key board.
Voila twitter does its magic, you will see “Top” is highlighted in blue, you can alter your search.
Here I clicked “ latest” , this gives you upto date tweets on your key word search.
Here I chose photos, this works best for me to search papers as I intentionally include a photo of the first page, this allows me to access them quickly in a photo search.
Next I just use the search to find anything on twitter matching my key word.
Here I added an extra word “ guidelines” to narrow my search.
Another way to search is if you use a key words and a recognized expert in the field on twitter. Here I use @laurafinucaneB as an example.
Searching for any topic will allow you to access anything you have tweeted on a subject eg Kinesiotape
It allows you to utilize twitter as your own storage space. ( and it’s free)
Again you can find things as you scroll.
You can also store important things, like podcasts or presentations in your bookmarks. Clicking on the bookmark icon will reveal your personal stored information
Here is some of mine.
To store something in bookmarks, click the icon highlighted
This box will appear. Click on the bookmark icon and it will store the tweet in your own personal bookmark store.
Now go away and practice 😊
I’ll be here if you need me
As always, hope this is helpful.
