I do think people subscribing to me & buying my vids is “support”.
I don’t think you have to tip w/ no strings, to be supportive.
Just like when I shop at my friends small businesses, I am supporting their business.

On the topic of supporting your “IRL friends” who are SW’s? 1000% understand why a lot of SW’s don’t want their friends buying their content or services!

I want to reiterate that for me the issue is when someone acts like they’re rescuing or drastically helping a SW by simply taking making use of their available services or content.

I look at it like a bar. If you’re buying drinks, you are supporting the bar. But if you never tip, you’re not supporting the bartender.
